COLEY SAYS

Cole cracks me up on a regular basis... Here are just a few of his latest...

"Mom, Cha Cha says she wants to marry me. I know we are cousins, but I think its okay."

Then, Mac and I were downstairs watching a movie when we heard Cruz start screaming. He was down for a nap in our bedroom upstairs and Cole had been playing in the loft outside our room. Fishy business for sure. Mac walked in the room to find a small soccer ball in bed with Cruz.

Mac: "Cole! Did you throw this soccer ball in Cruz's bed?!"

Cole: "Someone did..."

Mac: "Cole..."

Cole: "I did it!"

He has the most mischievous twinkle in his eye. He is lucky he is so cute - he absolutely melts my heart! Who can stay mad at a face like his? We are so lucky...

Mom and the Kids

For Father's Day I had our pictures taken for Mac. Becky did a phenomenal job - as usual. The orchard that she took us to was beautiful. Thanks so much Becks!

Baby Jack

My sister Jen had her baby boy! You have to understand that he is #4 - with THREE older sisters. He for sure will be the most amazing husband and man ever with all their training! :) I had the girls that afternoon after stealing them from their auntie Amber and I have to say - I loved the anticipation! Rachel is 8 yrs. old and was pacing or sitting on the edge of her seat the entire time I had her. It was so cute to watch their sweet excitement. Jen is amazing and went au natural and sans drugs. (She did it first and I followed suit.) I am in awe of the beautiful and super mom she is. She was just a week away from delivering and threw Bekah the most beautiful vintage Barbie birthday party anyone has ever seen! I will be sure to remind her how much her mom loves her for the rest of her life! :) I love you Jen... So happy for your little family. XXOO

RAIN!

We decided to go on a family walk on Saturday evening. By the time we got to the bottom of the driveway (around 800 ft. long) the downpour had started! We had to turn around and run back up to the top to cover! We laughed the whole way. My cute kids just loved it! We sat on the porch to watch the lightning until it got dark and a little too cold! So much for our evening stroll... I love the rain... I think it feels cozy and nothing smells better. Mom and Dad's yard is gorgeous and green. I'm in love with the sun, but I can enjoy the storms while they last.
** Camera phone again. Sorry - we are a little blurry...

Buddies...

Becky and Ryan are Coley's current heroes. They have taken him and Max swimming at the Legacy Center twice and Cole just can't stop talking about it. Super cute! Cole and Max are the cutest little buddies. As we pulled away from the curb after picking Cole up - he proudly said, "Bye Max! He's my Best Friend!!!" Love it!

What do you want to be when you grow up?

It's a question that gets discussed a lot at my house. Bella is currently giving it a lot of thought. Tonight in the car -- our conversation:

Bella: "Mom, when you were little what did you want to grow up and be?"
Me: "A doctor."
Bella: "Well, I was thinking about that, but now I am thinking more like American Idol or So You Think You Can Dance."
Me: "All good options..." Giggle.

But seriously. I have been talking about wanting to become a nutritionist for at least a year. It is my current "when I grow up" plan and I am finally doing it! (Thanks so much Mom and Dad!) Studying on top of everything else we have going seems like a lot of fun. Just thought I would add another pot to the fire. ;) I can swing it. Wish me luck...

Wondering if I will want cookies a little less when I get all this studying done about how bad they are for you... Prolly not. LOL
