Not for Gells...

SO Cole's latest phrase is "Not for Gells." (Not for girls.) He says it to Bella every chance he gets. I think it comes from me telling him that he can't wear Bella's princess dress ups. He wants in on all the dress up action - especially when Bella has friends over and they are all into it. I tell him - "Princess dresses are for girls. You go find your fireman costume or the cowboy boots and hat. Boys don't wear dresses." He is so disappointed but slowly starting to figure out that there are things just for boys too! He loves to tell Bella that his cars and squeaky shoes are "Not for Gells." So cute!

Man, so nervous! Not sure I am as cool as everyone else!

1. Lived in Utah my whole life - UNTIL I married McKay - then 14 cities and 11 states in 8 years since then!
2. I can rate almost every baseball stadium in the country based on the cuisine and concessions they offer :)
3. I go au naturel for labor and delivery - epidurals are for wimps! ;) Two down - two to go!
(McKay thinks four to go! Shhh... Four is totally the new six!)
4. My ring size is 4 1/4 - the skinniest part on my body for sure! hee hee...
5. My middle name should be Coldstone. I could eat it everyday...for every meal.
6. I used to hate to work out... Now I am teaching and loving it - how is that for conquering it? I am really proud...
(Obviously not that consistent with my love of food and ice cream... Maybe that is why I don't look like it? :))

Family Night...

I bought one of those kits to make a haunted gingerbread house... Still deciding whether or not I would totally recommend it. Needless to say - the finished product looked nothing like the picture on the box, but I guess it was worth it just having the kids have so much fun...Notice that Bella's side has the nice and neat rows while Cole's side is crammed with as much candy as possible. They are so cute!

No Wowee Bella...

Bella has had a few bad dreams lately - waking in the middle of the night crying. The most recent dream had her crying before Cole had fully fallen asleep. She told McKay and I that she was afraid that someone was peeking in her window. It scared US enough to have McKay walk around the house outside just to be sure no one was there... He carried his bat with him to be safe... Ever since then, Little Cole has insisted on sleeping with his little bat. He is already so protective of Bella. He said to her, "No Wowee Bella," while patting his bat next to him in bed. "No Wowee... Monsters not coming. They go night night." Precious...
